For over 10 years Nathalie has been instructing, training and supporting her students through entry level courses, continuing education and professional level training, Her focus is on personalized, thorough and dedicated Divemaster Internships and Instructor Development through group and one on one training, thriving to bring out the best of each student individually.
Nat’s passion for diving extends beyond professional development and during time off she likes to disappear into the beautiful, mysterious and peaceful caves of the Riviera Maya. Her love of Cave and Technical diving is more than enough reason to have fallen in love with Mexico and she has been here for 6 years now.
Before becoming a Dive Professional Nat worked as a Senior Customer Service Trainer in the banking and insurance industries. She later went on to become Restaurant Manager and Functions Co-ordinator for a high class restaurant and catering company in Sydney. She has a long history in the service and training industry.
Nat started her search for ‘the passion of life´in Australia and was introduced to diving. It was at this time that she realised that anything is possible if you make it happen! She returned home to Europe to make some final arrangements and set off on a life changing journey in becoming a PADI Instructor! To this day she will never forget the satisfaction and sense of achievement and joy at receiving her Open Water Scuba Instructor certification and has never looked back since that day! She is now a Full Cave diver, Technical Deep diver and Sidemount Instructor and explores the incredible cave systems of the Yucatan Peninsula as her way to ‘unwind’ along with yoga!
Her diving career has taken her all over the world and she has the opportunity to dive and work in countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Vietnam, Vanuatu, Fiji, Dominican Republic, Mexico and many more! She has logged over 7000 dives and has worked in a variety of positions in the industry such as Dive Center Manager, Operations and Quality Control, Excursions Co-ordinator, Cavern Guide, Base Leader, Go Pro Trainer and PADI Course Director. She has been involved with teaching Instructors for 5 years and could not be happier being part of training the next generation of PADI Instructors!!
Nat teaches all level courses in English, French and Spanish and provides language support throughout the Internships for those candidates wanting to improve their language skills and to enable them to be competent enough to teach in more than just one language as professionals. Experience, the great diving and instruction with us with personalised, support.
